About Me

Genesa Falcao, LPC, CHT

I’m here to help you unwind the patterns that keep you from living empowered, embodied, and free.

Working with me is like having a grounded guide and mystical ally on your path of healing.

When I take you on as a client, I’m deeply devoted to your journey — weaving together over 15 years of therapeutic wisdom with the intuitive, earth-based magic of my spiritual path as a modern-day medicine woman.
Our sessions may begin with mindfulness or intention-setting, inviting in presence, clarity, and the support of the unseen.

I will walk with you at every step

Let’s be real — life happens outside the therapy room, and sometimes it’s hard to wait for our next session to process what’s unfolding.
That’s why I offer in-between session support, meeting you in real time through text and voice memos, so the work can continue to deepen and flow as life happens.

My Approach is Relational

I don’t believe in being a blank slate. Our work is alive — shaped by what’s unfolding between us in each moment. Through our connection, I help you see the ways you both guard and open in relationship, inviting each part of you into deeper presence and compassion.
I don’t hide behind neutrality — I bring my own humanity and vulnerability into the space, welcoming all parts of you into our sacred container. Clients often share that they feel deeply held in my presence, grateful for the way I meet their anger, confusion, and grief with tenderness, truth, and unwavering compassion.

As our journey unfolds, your life will begin to open to new possibilities and outcomes you may not have imagined were possible.

I typically work with clients for a minimum of three to six months, allowing time for our connection to deepen and for us to reach the roots of what’s ready to be healed.
There’s something truly magical about a relationship held in a clear and intentional container — one that honors the greater context of your life and the wisdom of your unfolding.
Again and again, I’ve witnessed transformation that feels nothing short of miraculous — the kind that happens when life meets you in your deepest prayer.

When Nothing Else has worked…..

You may be ready for a more integrated approach.
Our work bridges modern psychological techniques with ancient wisdom and embodied practices to help you unravel trauma patterns held in the body, break free from limiting beliefs and conditioning that keep you stuck, and release the inherited wounds of your lineage — so you can live a more connected, empowered, and embodied life.

I’m here to help

I use a relational, embodied, mindfulness-based somatic approach. I will sit with you in the fire to discover what wants to be ignited from the ashes of what’s ready to burn away.

Work with Me

If something inside of you knows it’s time to release what no longer serves you and step into deeper relationship with yourself and your life, I would be honored to walk beside you.

My Journey Home

The Path I’ve Walked

Growing up, my life appeared put together from the outside — but inside, I was in immense suffering. Even though nothing seemed tragically wrong, the relational dynamics within my family system and the community I was part of were subtly eroding my sense of self and belonging. I would later come to understand that the real tragedy of complex PTSD is how invisible — and how insidious — it truly is.

Eventually, I reached a point where I no longer wanted to be here and began quietly planning my exit. But life, in her infinite wisdom, had other plans. She whispered through a series of small miracles, reminding me that my story was not yet meant to end.

The first miracle occurred in a moment of total despair. Crying over my journal and planning my eventual demise, I had a mystical encounter with one of my spiritual guides — a being of light who gently reminded me that my walk with life was not yet complete. Something in me knew they were right. I had to find a way to be here.

With nothing left to lose and the spirit of a rebel, I embarked on my first psychedelic journey at seventeen — in a room I had painted purple, with stars and clouds scattered across the walls. What I saw changed everything: the vast interconnection of all life. From that deep knowing, I understood that my existence was not separate — that to end my life would send ripples through the web of creation itself.

In those moments, something within me began to awaken. Life was revealing herself as a living intelligence — inviting me into the great mystery. I could no longer deny that I was part of something infinitely larger, and that this larger presence wanted me here.

At first, I resisted — rebelling against life in quieter ways. I numbed myself with substances, determined to survive without caring, without feeling. But over time, something within me began to stir. My Xanax prescription started to feel more like a prison than a support, and the drugs were leading me into a darkness that no longer aligned with the deeper call of my soul.

Gradually, I began to release the psychiatric medications and substances I had depended on. Facing the pain I had long buried was excruciating — like a limb waking up to pins and needles. As I began to unravel the trauma stored in my nervous system, I found myself drawn toward stillness and inner inquiry. Through Buddhist practice and meditation, I learned to meet my pain with compassion rather than resistance — to honor the path I had walked and the person I was becoming.

That’s when the sacred medicines began to take the lead. I was first called to work with MDMA, meeting layers of trauma I hadn’t yet touched. Eventually, I was summoned into relationship with the natural medicines — the sacred plants and fungi of the Earth. These wise teachers became my allies, guiding me into a deeper knowing of myself and expanding my capacity for love, presence, and truth.

Having transmuted my own pain into greater aliveness, pleasure, and wisdom, I now invite others to walk with me — through the fire of their own self-discovery and into the freedom of their most authentic expression.
